A Completely Original, Corrosion Free V12 with Low Mileage
With only 36,291 miles from new in November 1972 this Series 3 V12 Roadster is presented in the original turquoise with biscuit trim. A left hand drive automatic complete with air conditioning and chrome wire wheels, it is in the very finest unrestored and un-molested condition.
This E-Type has an incredible fully documented history, complete with the original handbook and wallet, and comes with a full appraisal and report from 1991 confirming the mileage at that point as being 28,704. It is amazingly original throughout, with the exception of the hood which has been replaced and, whilst being in the most remarkable un-worn condition, the tan hide seat facings have now replaced because the sun had bleached the leather.
This example is so untouched and exceptional that it is the actual car used in the original E-Type guide book; 'Factory Original - Jaguar E-Type' to define the S3 models. The book is the official Jaguar Heritage originality bible.
It is also well featured in Philip Porters 'The Iconic E-Type' publication as part of a fabulous fashion shoot by Abigail Humphries and is the cover car on the July 2011 E-Type club magazine.
A copy of the E-Type book, the magazine, and the full set of relevant stunning images will be supplied with the car enabling pictures or posters to be printed for your wall.
A superb, truly original V12 Roadster
