Well, this car is now in Northern California. I recently purchased it in Gilroy California, from Checkered Auto. I'm thrilled, and am enjoying it on a regular basis. I work for "On the Road Again Classics" and intend to restore the car to show standards. Please feel free to email me at tomdunham@redshift.com if you have any other history about this wonderful automobile.

Vehicle to be offered for Auction sale August 15th-17th at Russo and Steele's 13th Annual Monterey, California Auction.

An unrestored Series II E-Type OTS (Open Two-Seater) with only 33,700 original miles, this beautiful example from 1971 is one of the last Series II cars built. It is also extremely rare as one of only seven finished in Ascot Fawn that year. Recent maintenance includes replacement of the clutch and oil seals, a tune-up, attention to the brake master cylinder and servo, a valve job, and more. Equipped with factory A/C and the addition of three European-spec SU carburetors, this XKE is offered with a clear title.
