This vehicle was procured from the original female owner, with only 51,685 meticulously maintained miles. All maintenance was performed by a nationally known Jaguar mechanic. Fitted with the awesome V12, the engine is extremely smooth with enough power to run with quite a few modern exotics. This is a V12 that can be driven in city traffic in July without running hot. Factory air conditioning, automatic, impeccable original chrome wire wheels, and finished in a Sebring Silver with a perfect Black leather interior, makes this a very desirable Series III 2+2. Original tools, books and receipts are included. This vehicle has no rust and no rust covered up since it was always stored in a climate controlled environment since day one. A fresh $7,000 paint job was applied one year ago only because the original paint was not up to my standards. As far as investment, this is the only motor car to adorn the Museum of Modern Art, as the best example of the motoring world. A great investment that one can drive with comfort, safety, and endless pride of ownership.

CONDITION:
Due to the meticulous care this Jaguar has received over the years, I dare say this may be one of the finest, original, unrestored Series III 2+2 available for sale on the market today. Every piece of trim is in impeccable condition, be it stainless or chrome, it is perfect. The wire wheels are the originals to this car and are in “Brand New” condition. A new set of Pirelli tires have less than 100 miles on them. When the vehicle was painted every piece of trim was removed, wrapped and stored, until the paint was completed. Each piece of trim was then detailed and reinstalled. Original factory color paintjob is world class. Numerous people have complimented me on this cars timeless color combination. Silver and black does it for every car especially for an E-Type.

The interior is a beautiful contrasting Black leather that sets off the fabulous Silver exterior. The door panels, headliner, dash, dashpad and carpet are in like new condition with no issues to speak of. All electrical items on this car work perfectly as well, including, headlights, taillights, signals, highbeams, brakelights, reverse lights, interior light, low fuel bulb, wipers fast and slow, emergency brake light and the original radio works perfectly as well!! I want to state again that this vehicle has NEVER been in the presence of any kind of moisture besides a monthly wash and it shows. Any one interested is invited to come and view this car, you are welcome to pull up carpets, put it on a lift and do all the snooping your heart desires, this Jag is 100% rust free and leak free!! There is no sag to the doors and they open and shut perfectly as well. All body part seams are factory original and perfect due to the fact that this car has never been taken apart! The leather seats are original to the car and are in excellent cond. minus one unnoticeable puncture hole the size of a pencil eraser on the drivers seat. This was an accidental puncture, not from being worn. All the original interior trim, knobs, switches and latches are in fine working order and appear as new. The original headrests will need new foam installed which is a minor item and common for any original E-Type. This car also features a stainless steel exhaust front to back! In addition, I have extensive maintenance records from the original owners husband and will be including 3 boxes of extra parts with anything from light bulbs to distributor caps to fuel pumps for this Jag.

All mechanicals have been gone through and this Jaguar Series III 2+2 is ready for your motoring enjoyment. I have never seen an original, unrestored 2+2 of this caliber offered for sale before.
