Vehicle offered at www.eaglegb.com/etypes/47-1974-series-3-commemorative-roadster.html
Seller´s description:
1974 Series 3 Commemorative Roadster
One of the last six E-Types ever produced
Series 3 Commemorative Roadster £185,000
A superb example of a motoring icon - the Commemorative Roadster
This is one of just 16 of the manual version built - and the sixth to last E-Type to leave the factory.
Aside from the rarity, this example is further enhanced by the fact that it has had just one owner from new until 1996 - and had covered only 45,000 miles up to that point. The next owner drove it sparingly but regularly, leading to the current mileage of only 57,847.
The history file is as complete and extensive as we have ever witnessed, and includes all the original booklets, service receipts and documentation including the fully stamped service booklet.
The condition is truly first class and we chose to take this E-Type to the prestigious Salon Privé Concours d'Elégance at the Hurlingham Club in 2009, having been asked to enter a car into the '1970's Supercar' category.
As well as being a beautiful and collectable Jaguar E-Type, it is a practical car to use and an absolute joy to drive.
An opportunity for collectors, investment or just for the joy of driving a motoring icon.
