Car to be at auction 3/25

www.aguttes.com//lot/102878/11816388

Auction description:

Jaguar TYPE E 4.2 ROADSTER 1969 - Lot 143

Same owner since 1995

Attractive estimate

Good general condition

French registration document

Chassis: 1R7773

A 4.2l of American origin and put into circulation at the beginning of 1969. Gray in color and black interior, it was imported into our territory in April 1995 then was registered by the current owner in June of the same year. Always lovingly maintained by a enthusiast of fine mechanics, Mr. M will often use it for walks in Sologne with friends. It is presented today in a good general state of presentation and operation. When we tested it, we had a car in good mechanical condition. This will require a small overhaul to get back on the road because unfortunately it has not been driven much for two years.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
