Sellers description:
1970 Jaguar E-Type XK-E Coupe with a inline 6cyl engine and automatic transmission. The car runs and drives great. It also has the AC equipment that will need to be reconditioned included off the car. The car is not a show car but a 20 footer as they say. The paint isn't bad but its not a high quality paint job. There is rust around the car on the doors front hood area and rear door hatch and in the corner of the rocker panels the floors looked good and I took pictures the areas I found rust. Everything is available for purchase for this car though company's that make restoration parts. Mechanically it is great! Engine starts and runs very smooth. The transmission also shifts smooth and the 4 wheel disk brakes work great. I went on the highway for a drive and it had no problems cursing at 70mph and has plenty of passing power. It has the original spare and wheels on the car with new tires and jack. The chrome is pitted on some parts like the bumpers and mirrors but some window trim and door are in great shape. Also, I noticed a small leak from and engine hose that might need to be tightened where its leaking from. All the gauges work and the interior is clean. This car is fully drivable even long distances. This is a great car that can use cosmetic work to look its best or be driven just like this. I see no evidence of collision repair on this car and all the gaps are vary nice. I have set the reserve fair so bid to win! Please email me with any questions and I will be glad to help!
