    Auction description:
    Lot : 42
    1969 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Coupe 2+2 LHD
    Estimate: £11000 - 13000
    Registration No: Un-Reg
    Chassis No: 1R40968BW
    Engine No: Not Stated
    CC: 4235
    Colour: Dark Red
    Trim Colour: Black
    MOT: None
Finished in Dark Red with black leather upholstery, this particular left-hand drive example is variously described by the vendor as being in "very good" (electrical equipment, automatic transmission, interior trim) or "100%" (engine, bodywork, paintwork) condition. Recently imported from the USA, it rides on wire wheels shod with slimband whitewall tyres.

PLEASE NOTE: This vehicle has been imported into Eire from America (duty paid) and the vendor anticipates but does not guarantee that it will possess Eire registration documents / plates by the time of sale.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
