Ebay item 6/20/23
Car has a buy it now price of $39,999 for 29 days, seller arapa303, 29k miles
Seller's description:
This is a 1970 jaguar XKE series 2 with 29,219 actual miles per the Colorado title we received. This vehicle was in the middle of restoration when the shop that was working on the car, closed its doors at which point the owner took the vehicle back to his house and unfortunately at his age is not going to be able to finish the restoration on the vehicle. the entire drivetrain has been completely torn apart and rebuilt. Its never been finalized assembly, but everything was gone through. If you look at the photos of the engine, you can tell that everything has been rebuilt or replaced. The hood was removed from the vehicle and prepped for paint. The rest of the car remains in its original white paint. The car has not seen repaint from what we know or what weve been told so that is from our knowledge original paint on the rest of the car still. The Interor is very original with his tan leather seats. It does come with the hammer for the knock off wire wheels that is in a box. This would be an excellent candidate for completing the restoration or possibly painting the hood and leaving the original paint on the rest of the car that would totally be up to the buyer what they would like to do going forward, but the vehicle does not currently run as not all the engine components have been re-hooked back up. This is a very solid builder with zero rust Colorado car from day one from what weve been told, and in a very desirable color combination of white exterior over tan leather and this is a true two-seater coupe not a 2+2. When this car is complete it it probably retails somewhere in the $75,000-80,000 range.
