Jaguar E Type series 2 coupe. £7800, reserve not met, 5 days to go

I have owned this car for about 10 years, it is an original RHD UK supplied car, it was delivered from factory to buyer in South Africa, i purchased the car from the original owner during my period of residence and brought it back with me in 1999.

I have all the documentation showing ownership as well as the heritage certificate and the original invoice

IN 2000 i had the car refubrished by a local classic car specialist, the car was also repainted by them, they have serviced and done the M.O.T inspections since then.

The car would benifit from a fresh coat of paint at some time although it is not necessary immediately

This car is a straight honest car suited to everyday use.

the engine is dry, no oil leaks,

clutch and gearbox are fine, no noises or slipping,

new disc pads fitted last year,

diff is good, no lash or leaks

No major rust problems, slight repair needed to NSF footwell (This will be done)

Interior would benifit from some new carpets

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
