Ebay item 1/29/16
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-/121877548649
Current bid US $28,500, no reserve, 41 bids 6 days left in auction. Seller jp9428, 81k miles.

Sellers description:
Too many projects!! Excellent candidate for restoration. Complete car, engine & transmission working well when put into storage in November 2012. Previous owner installed new floor pans with skip welds so underside sills need to be welded in. Some blisters in paint, minor surface rust, trunk pan very solid. Will need chrome work. Very serviceable biscuit leather interior, not cracked & still soft. Few parts will be required to make this a stunning, classic roadster.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
