Picture of Car is in Alex Rivers Fletcher's book "Jaguar XJS" published in 1983. Alex writes, " my 2+2 was a more direct ancester of the XJS, it was quite standard with a manual box and the only extra was a Webasto sunshine roof. In blue with cww I thought it was very good looking, losing only a fraction on appearance to the two seater coupe. Rather more a sports car than a grand tourer, it suited me well, though rear seat passengers had very littlke comfort unless they were petite. Its maximum speed and acceleration was all that anyone could want on the road - in this country."
