Ebay item 9/21/05
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-1967-4-2-Litre-XKE-Coupe-Restoration-Proje ...
Opening bid $3,000, no reserve, no bids yet, 6 days left in auction. 30k miles.

Sellers description:
Up for auction is a numbers matching 1967 Jaguar XKE Coupe with a 4.2 litre in-line 6 cylinder motor and 4 speed manual transmission. This vehicle is being offered as a RESTORATION PROJECT. The vehicle is not currently running. The motor and drivetrain are 'free' (not frozen or siezed). The vehicle has been stored outdoors for the past 4 months under cover. Prior to that, the vehicle was stored indoors. I will be including a nearly complete, but dismantled, bonnet. I have owned this vehicle for the past 4 years and have simply not been able to get to around to beginning the restoration , so my loss is your gain.

The vehicle title is free and clear, so there are no worries associated with title bureau problems.

I also have many more spare parts which may be of interest to bidders. Some parts may be included with the auction.

Missing items as follows:
1. Intake (manifold, carbs, airbox, linkage)
2. Center gauge console (I do have one from a 61' coupe)
3. Tachometer (Also one from a 61' coupe)
4. Exhaust (manifolds and pipes)

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
