Found information inside a book on E-Types donated by Ken Orr to the Georgetown library. It would seem this was his car that he made notations about on the inside front cover.

Ebay item 3/20/17 www.ebay.com/itm/1967-Jaguar-E-Type-/132131944507
Current bid US $5,600 reserve not met 2 bids 6 days left in auction, seller salesmotorcars, car now said to be in Plainville, Connecticut, 53k miles.
Sellers description:
Motorcars is offering this 1967 E-type S-1 OTS . Numbers Matching w/Heritage Certificate !
We have serviced this car for many years, it is a very solid and sound running E-type and is finally offered at Auction.
This car has great mechanicals, very good oil pressure, runs and drives as it should and has a nice tight gearbox as well as a quiet Differential. This is the 67 that every one is trying to find. This car can be purchased by either a hobbyist, or a professional shop, either one can spruce it up and very quickly this car can bring the Huge numbers that these S-1 cars have seen.
This car 1E 15711 is one of the very first in the us to have open head lamps, all the rest of the car is all Series 1. This car is totally matching number, not a redone car ever.. And it comes with a Heritage certificate also. The car has a jack, a Jack bag, the owners manual and a tool roll with about half the tools in it. All the gauges work fine, lights horn etc all in working order.
The car currently has 15x6 Dayton Wheels on it instead of the original 15x5.5 wheels, and it has very good tires, and Stainless exhaust. As you can see it has Koni Shock absorbers also.
Mechanically we have replaced all the fluids in the car, and we have checked the compression and driven the car to a few local shows.. it is a good sound driving car.
It appears to have had the foot wells replaced in the floors, the car has been painted totally but in the original color, and it was done many years ago. It needs some paint work, the top and interior are older, but all intact, work fine. A fresh rug kit and maybe a full paint job will finish this car.
Depends on what the purchaser wants to do with the car, We would suggest a full restoration on the car but we have so many cars in process now we just can't start another project right now.
The paint is crazing in places, the doors are sound, (see pictures of under doors) but on each door there are some small rust bubbles along or near the bottom edge. There is a small dent near the front of the bonnet, so there are small issues with the paint for instance.
But- Compare this car to all the other S-1 OTS cars out there and quickly you can see that this is the best deal out there right now...
