Sold by Winspeed Motor Sport of Guildford in Autumn 2016. Seller's description below. The URL is www.winspeedmotorsport.com/product/1966-jaguar-e-type-series-1-4-2-roadster

Originally supplied by ourselves to a previous owner some ten years ago and then sold to its present owner some four years ago, the car has undergone a substantial WinSpeed engine and gearbox overhaul. This also included a WinSpeed fast road performance cylinder head with larger valves and expert porting.

The front suspension has also been completely stripped, re-plated, re-bushed and rebuilt. The front callipers have been uprated to Zeus. The car drives beautifully giving tremendous performance. This is one of 270 such examples manufactured by Jaguar in 1966 and a rare opportunity to acquire such a decent, well proven UK car.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
