Sold on ebay auction ending 6 Nov 2009. Seller in Portland Connecticut. Seller's description follows:
"You are bidding on a 1965 Jaguar XKE Series 1 Roadster California barn find. This car was sitting in a barn in California for the last 5 years; it is a perfect example of a rust free original Jaguar. It is powered by its original 4.2 Liter 6 Cylinder engine and has its original 4 speed transmission. We re-commissioned this beautiful XKE. It runs strong and shifts smoothly but has a noisy 1st gear. The car is very presentable and complete except for the radio and air cleaner. The windshield has a minor crack on the passenger’s side. This Jaguar would make a terrific affordable driver or make an amazing restoration project."
