 | Now almost 70yrs old living in Essex UK, I am about tocomplete the nut / bolt rebuild of my E-type which has taken 10 yrs . My wife bought it for me for my 60th birthday . A huge number of parts missing ,and it has taken this long to compete. We are snow birds in Florida for the winter,so on our return in May 09 the final small amount of work will complete this major project., and i can at last drive my dream car. |

 | I'm near Paris (France). I had a few classic cars from a 69 VW to a Jaguar XJ6 series 3, and some more... At the time I've got an XK120 FHC and two series 1 E-Type. The RHD one was to have a ground up restoration, but I'm forced to sell her because another S1 is there. The S1 XJ6 is supposed to be my everyday car. If you're on a trip in France and are stalled you can contact me. I know a fine shop near my place. |

Bought the car a 1967 2+2 in 2005. Had a canvas sunroof which I hated. I'ts now gone. Couldn't quite believe how the rust was covered. Tin plate was pop riveted over the rust then that was bogged over. Should be finished Nov 07 | |

Life long [almost!] Jaguar enthusiast. Had 'E's since I was 22 - they were cheap then. Have owned c.20 'E' Types, '430 was the second one I purchased and have owned for 36 years. We won concours, went racing - and did pretty well - and now we go to the pub together. Full race prepared still and with the open exhausts everyone knows it's me. EX100 is in my custody for a friend who has owned it since Peter Taylor sold it in 1976. Now overhauled and on 6 Webbers it's pretty impressive and of course unique. | |
