    Sellers description:
    VIN: UE1S26101BW
    33,600 Miles
    Matching numbers
British Racing Green with original black interior, new black canvas soft top, factory hardtop, automatic, PS, AC

This is one of the nicest Jaguar e-type V12 I have seen in a long time. Superb paint done on a 100% rust and accident free car.
British Racing Green was the car's original color, this is not a color change. Body was taken down to bare metal and glass, doors, bonnet and trunk lid were removed for painting. All chrome is very nice with many of the trim pieces and bumpers recently re-done.
New canvas top and new rubber seals. Stainless steel exhaust in excellent condition. Original black leather interior in very good condition. Chrome wire wheels are excellent. Engine compartment is unmolested and nicely detailed. All numbers match.
Mechanically the car is well sorted out and recently tuned. All gauges, and even the clock, are in working order. The air conditioner blows cold. Car comes with the rare removable factory hardtop. Included is the original owners manual, tools, photos of the
    restoration and receipts.

This car represents the end of the era for the e-type which started production in 1961. The last LHD e-type was number 1S26120, only 19 cars after this one.

This car runs and looks extremely nice. I have collected e-types for over 25 years and very few times do I run across a car in this type of condition. I know on the photos is looks like another nice e-type, which I have had quite a few for sale in the past. Trust me when I say this one you have to see it in person to appreciate its condition. This is a no excuse e-type, ready for show or simply enjoying on nice weekends.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
