For sale, asking $59,950

Features: Last of the V12 Jaguar roadsters! I have owned this car since 1987. It has been repainted once in the original Old English White. The soft top and rear window are original and there is an optional hard top as well. The car is white with the original red leather interior (which is in great condition). The engine has never been out of the car and runs like a watch. Correct Dunlop tires with the original wire wheels dress up the exterior. The air conditioning and original British Leyland radio work perfectly. In May 2000 it won Best Jaguar in Class at the Visalia Motorsports Festival. If you are looking for a beautiful, un-restored car this is it!

Ebay item 5/22/05
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $20,000.00 (Reserve not met), 1 bid, 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
This beautiful, two-owner, roadster (open two seater) has only 20,XXX original miles of use since new. I purchased the car from the original owner in 1987. Since that time I have repainted it once in the correct Old English white color, I have completely gone through and refurbished and cad plated all of the suspension parts, and I have gone through the valve train completely including new cam housings and resurfaced the heads. The motor has never been out of the car. The brakes are in excellent condition. Everything else on the car is original including the convertible top (and rear window), the optional hard top, and the interior. The seats and head rests have been repadded but the original leather still covers them and is in excellent condition. The air conditioning works perfectly as does the original British Leyland stereo radio. Even the Kienzle clock keeps perfect time. It has been shown many times in JCNA sanction events in both driven and champion classes. It has won many awards and at its last show it scored 998.2 points out of 1,000. Due to its originality and excellent condition this car is a real time machine and marks the end of production for the E-Type Jaguar.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
