    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-1974-Jaguar-XKE-Convertible-V12-/250701292 ...
Opening bid $27,000 reserve not met, no bids yet 6 days left in auction. 46k miles.

    Sellers description:
1974 Jaguar XKE with a V12 engine. I'ts been sitting for awhile and will start up and drive. Brakes in good order, no overheating. Needs some minor cleaning and tune-up. A small oil leak was noticed that is dripping on the exhaust and begins to smoke when it warms up. which is very common with an vehicle like this. Some minor body flaws, Blistering around the fender wells, Good floors. Transmission shifs with no problems. AC will need the belt put back on and recharged. But works.

Opening bid $25,000 reserve not met, no bids yet 6 days left in auction. 48k miles. Same location.

    Sellers description:
This is a 1974 Jaguar XKE Convertible with Tan interior, Original Burgandy paint. Engine Runs, Car drives. Pulled out of Storage about 6 mo ago and it started right up. Looking for a new home, I just don't have the time to enjoy this car.

AC needs to be charged but did work. Runs smooth and shifts fine, Brakes work. So shipping won't be a problem.

Looking for a buyer that may want to completely restore this car.

I bought a new convertible top for it but never got it installed. It will come with the car.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
