    Ebay item 5/8/13
    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1974-Jaguar-E-Type-Convertible-/130904128569
Car has a buy it now price of $39,000 for 6 days. 45k miles.

    Sellers description:
1974 Jaguar E-Type Convertible Roadster (XKE Series III)

    V-12 original engine
    Manual 4-speed
    45K miles
    Original AC
    Original leather
    Original soft & hardtop
    Solid Floors
    Power steering
    New tires

I am the third owner. The second owner purchased car from Indy dealership in 1979. I have lots of original paperwork. Car has been in storage since 1986. Rebuilt carbs, clutch and brakes within last few months. Car now runs smooth and strong. There is, however, an oil leak that will need some attention. Small rust spots on quarters. Also see pic of paint flaw near trunk; the previous owner said he had placed a can on the car cover for several years that eventually created a ring in the paint.

Car to be at auction 1/14
    www.coys.co.uk/auction.php

    Auction description:
    Lot 241 - 1974 Jaguar E-Type Series III V12 Roadster
    Estimate: £25,000 - £30,000
    Registration Number: EU Taxes Paid
    Chassis Number: UE1S24765

This example originated from Ohio in the United States and the owner has stated that he has applied for a UK Registration. This car is showing a mere 47,000 miles which the owner believes to be genuine. Presented in striking red with tan interior, this car also comes with its factory hardtop. Iconic in looks and with great performance from that V12, this car is still a head turner and a wonderful investment.

Car to return to auction 3/14
    www.coys.co.uk/auction.php

    Auction description:
    Lot 120 - 1974 Jaguar E-Type Series III V12 Roadster
    Estimate: €50,000 - €60,000
    Registration Number: EU Taxes Paid
    Chassis Number: UE1S24765

The example on offer today originates from Ohio in the United States, and current vendor has stated the car is tax paid and that he has applied for UK Registration. This car is showing a mere 47,000 recorded miles which the owner believes to be correct.

It is presented in astriking red, which so well suits the car's shape, with a tan leather interior, and also comes, very uncommonly, with its factory hardtop. Iconic in looks and with great performance from that V12, this car remains a head turner and a wonderful investment.
