Vehicle Description: I purchased the car in 1979 and used it as a daily driver until 1886. The car has been continually updated. Since 1979 the engine has been overhauled twice, shocks replaced twice, transmission rebuilt once, steering rebuilt twice, the ignition has been changed to a solid state XJS system, radiator has been doubled cored, rear end rebuilt once, carbs overhauled regularly among the many other ongoing maintenance items. For details call my mechanic, Royal British Motors/Charlie Record, at 817-477-2363. Exterior was repainted in 2002. Interior is all original with the exception of new leather which was put in a few thousand miles ago. Its condition is very good. The car came with factory mag wheels and I have two extras. The soft top is relatively new however; it has a small tear where it snaps to the body. The factory hardtop is completely original.
