Ebay item 2/13/04 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $15,050.00 (Reserve not met), 5 bids, 9 days left in auction, 77k miles on the odo.
Sellers comment:
This 1974 Jaguar XKE has over $35,000 worth of receipts since 1986! The V12 in this car has been meticulously maintained and it shows when you slip behind the wheel. Almost all of this work has been performed at Jim Griffin British & European Car Repair in San Bruno California. The original paint shows great for being 30 years old with no major imperfections to be found. The car comes out of California and is still on a California title.
This particular vehicle won best of show at the Portland British Show in Portland Oregon in 1998 scoring a 9.967 out of a possible 10 in the JCNA driven class. The low mileage is original and is now showing 77,326. It appears that when the car was bought by the family we purchased it from the mileage was around 35,000 in 1985. The California title is still in the family name and is believed to be handed down from the father to the son. We have receipts in hand to back up mileage.
The trunk is solid and includes a full size wire wheel spare and jack. Both appear to be original. There is an exhaust leak under the car that will need some attending to. This was caused when the car was loading onto the trailer and knocked the tailpipe from the muffler. We will try and have this repaired, time permitting. The true wire wheels are all in very good condition and appear to be original. There is no major pitting showing on any of them. They are wrapped with Avon 225/65 ZR15’s that show very good tread life.
This is a fantastic driving E-Type that is in very reliable mechanical condition. If you are looking for a great driving, last year, XKE convertible, then this is the car for you. Bid to own this fantastic E-Type that is sure to appreciate in value in the years to come. VIN number is UE1S24085BW and the car is being sold on mileage exempt California title.

Sellers description:
Only two owners, original owner and our dad! Purchased in 2004 (from EBAY!) for our father's 80th Birthday...the car he wanted to own his whole life! Only 2,000 miles added since 2004; most often just admired by family and friends. Original, pristine, Jag Red paint - has been covered and garaged. Taken out and started, lovingly, once a month to keep the amazing engine in perfect condition. We hope that the new owner enjoys this car as much as our dad!
