Sellers description:
1974 Jaguar XKE V12 4 speed roadster with only 29000 miles. The color is called Sable Brown. The paint appears to have been redone years ago, and is still remarkably nice although there is some paint checking seen only close up. The body is free of any serious filler or rust. This Jaguar still bears California plates and remained in that state until 1992 when it was transferred to a Kansas City collector. It later went on to a Wisconsin Collector and then on to me. The current title states actual miles and I have no reason to believe otherwise. The interior is original and the leather is excellent but has lost some of its color. The dash cover has a couple of very minor cracks. There is nothing missing and all of the A/C outlets are nice. All of the chrome is still wonderfully bright. The boot cover is original as are the beautiful chrome wire wheels. The top has been replaced with an expensive cloth one and is free of any rips or tears. The trunk is like new and the spare is original having never been down. Mechanically there are no issues. Obviously this Jaguar has not been driven any distance for many years so be patient with it as you drive it. Important things like the engine clutch, transmission all perform as new. I have not even tried to use the A/C so I would not be surprised if it needs some refrigerant. This Jaguar is of course the last year for a V12 convertible and it has the very desirable 4 speed with all the right options and of course ridiculously low miles. The engine needs a good detail but that is part of ownership enjoyment..
