Ebay item 8/21/04
color. It is show quality with a mirror finish. The chrome also is show quality with no flaws and a mirror finish and fits to the car excelntly. The car has a new clutch with maybe a couple hundred miles on it.The glass is all the original and in excelent condition.the lower front seats have usual wear but the rest of the interior is very good. There is some rust under one headlight, under the bonnet but only visable in wheel well. But there is no rust any where else and never was.

The car has been in storage a while and needs a going over.I know the car is running rough.

Mechanicaly the car needs work. The engine is not running well. The exhaust is 20 years old and could use replacement. The headliner is hanging down. The rubber on the side windows is dry rotted.

Car sold, returns to ebay 9/16/14
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-2-2-1973-jaguar-xke-2-2-v-12-/281441097431
Current bid US $6,60015 bids 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Jamaica, New York. 52k miles.

Sellers description:
Jaguar XKE 2+2 Series 3. 1973. This is a Fresh Barn Find with a clear title. Mileage on the car is 52569. The body is straight and rúst free both inside and out. There is no rúst on the floor boards or in the spare tire compartment. This is a 4 Speed manual transmission with a/c. The paint is original and there is a área on the roof that is faded. The engine turns over with the turn of the key. The tranny shifts through the gears. I suggest that the clutch salve cylinder and the brakes have a going thru. A dog got to the interior damaging the passenger's seat and the top of center consolé glove box. The head liner needs to be replaced. The instruments and switches aré clean. The dashboard is free of cracks.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
