    Ebay item 8/3/04
    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $22,100.00, 17bids, 4 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
    extremely well preserved Jaguar.

A British racing green beauty that has only seen use on rare occasion, it has been limited to a sparse 40,000 miles.

It has the rare feature of Factory Air Conditioning, which needs a compressor, but is otherwise intact.

As shown in our images, the overall condition of this E Type is spectacular.

Only the smallest of blemishes mar the finish, and there is a custom cover that has been on the garaged car at all times.

It rolls on all new tires, including the spare, and there are a total of six perfect wire wheels that are included. We drove the roadster and were totally impressed with the performance and taughtness.

No professional detailing was done prior to photography, and this daily driver is near show worthy as is.

It has an immaculate interior and top with perfect carpets and a brilliant trunk space.

The cat just passed the rigid New York State safety inspection, and it has never suffered from even the slightest rust.

There are all the tools and some spares included, and a manual.

Currently owned by the estate of the late Dr J. Douglas Fleming, who was a prominent dentist in Smithtown NY and a very active member of the JOC.

This is certainly an investment quality automobile, and seekers of clean original Type IIs should consider the ownership of this gem.
    Vehicle Location: Port Jefferson,
    Long Island, New York
    Estimate: $35,000 - $40,000
    OFFERED AT NO RESERVE

Car was running when I purchased it in 2019 and spent 5 years completely restoring it to excellent condition (condition 2-3). I drive it weekly and it handles beautifully.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
