I am the current owner. i imported the car from the California USA in late 2014.
I have fully restored the car and converted the driving position to right hand drive UK spec. I have also completed a top engine rebuild and changed the carbs to triple SU.
Summer 2018 I plan to change the gearbox to the manual type.

2020 - Engine has been fully overhauled by a Jaguar specialist

2021 - The original jag 3 speed Auto has been removed and a 4speed OD Jaguar manual has gone in (much better)

2022 - The car was treated to a complete interior refresh, the beige pleather has gone (good riddance) and a red leather full interior has gone in.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
