Ebay item 10/26/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-70-2-2-auto-air-/220881333091
Current bid $1,051 reserve not met, 7 bids 6 days left in auction. Buy it now price $8,500. 35k miles.

Sellers description:
This Jaguar is being sold at a low reserve. This car is a perfect restoration project as it is very complete. The cars title is lost and it can't be replaced in Connecticut do to State regulations. I do have a history of the past 3 owners though a copy of a title, an old registration and insurance cards. The paperwork noted has errors in that the "w" was mistaken for a "u" and an "l" was thought to be a "1"The car will be sold with a Bill Of Sale with correct numbers as found in Jaguar coding. This car was built in Nov. 1969. If the car is sold overseas, Customs may require the car be listed as a "parts car". The car was running about 2 years ago but not now. I believe the fuel pump is an issue and when trying to start the car I just get a clicking sound in the engine bay near the battery. I will continue to try and get it running. For now the car rolls and steers and the brake are not working(the pedal has no pressure).

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
