1964 Jaguar 3.8 Fixed Head Coupe Body. 4.2 Power Train Engine, Transmission, Rear End are from a 1966 Jaguar Fixed Coupe. Body is in great condition and has dipped and rust free. Engine and 3 Stromberg Carbs have been Rebuilt. Complete Front End Suspension Rebuilt. Rear End has been Reconditioned. The 66 FHC was in an accident and and totaled. Found a 64 FHC 3.8 Body which

fits all parts of the 4.2. Needs new footwell passenger side and driver floor assembly which has been purchased from SNG Barratt and will be installed. All parts are there except, front windshield, and a few misc parts. Have spare parts, frames, wheels, tires etc, Engine and gear box serial numbers match for series 1. No plate serial number for the body but have the serial number on the frame rail. Car is on a rotisserie which is included. All bolts and fasterners in boxes and are correct oem. Have over 200 photos of the vehicles parts.

This Jaguar XKE Series I coupe is a disassembled project that was acquired by the seller in 2023 and comprises the body and frame components of a 1964 model along with a 4.2-liter inline-six and a four-speed manual transmission sourced from a 1966 model. Additional parts include three Stromberg carburetors, nine wire-spoke wheels, a rear end, a Fidanza flywheel, and a Laycock 10″ spring clutch in addition to various Smiths readouts, a louvered hood, rear hatch, driver-side floor assembly, glass, and a steering wheel. Badges, hardware, exhaust components, and trim pieces are also present. This XKE Series I project is now offered with a bill of sale and British Columbia documents describing it as a 1965 E-Type

The seller notes that the body went through a chemical dipping process under prior ownership and that a replacement driver-side outer sill and floor pan will accompany the body. A louvered hood, rear hatch, doors, and glass components are also present.

The project includes nine wire-spoke wheels, four of which are mounted with tires. Suspension components go with the project.

A steering wheel and various Smiths readouts are included.

The seller states that the 4.2-liter inline-six was overhauled under prior ownership. Triple Stromberg carburetors are included in the sale along with a radiator, wiring, and exhaust components.

The cylinder head stamp reads 7E4796-9.

A four-speed manual transmission is included in the sale along with a Fidanza flywheel, a Laycock 10″ spring clutch, and a rear end.

The car does not have a title, as it is being sold in a country that does not issue titles for vehicles. It is being offered with a bill of sale and a British Columbia Owner’s Certificate of Insurance.
