Ebay item 10/2/11 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-1964-Series-I-3-8-Fixed-Head-Coupe-XKE-/160659757 ...
Current bid $2,025.82 reserve enot met, 3 bids 9 days left in auction. Buy it now price $21,500. 74k miles.
Sellers description:
This 1964 f.h.c. was made in August of 1964. It is one of the last of the 3.8 liter E-types built. It is a fully matching number car. Even the head matches the block. The car has some nice features because it is a late car. They features are as follows: the factory tinted glass (Tripex - Sundim), the Playmate radio and the synchromesh gearbox. The car has never been painted, it has the matching blue interior that is original as well. As you can see on the late production 3.8 cars, armrests were installed as well as a center console. The instrument panel and the radio console are the same as the 4.2 cars as well. As far as I can see what is missing on the car it is the lower piece of chrome on the windscreen, the jack and the tools and the spare tire. The car still has all the original floors and sills. The car shows no indication of being in an accident. The area where the battery has been for years, has had corrosion because the acid was leaking from the battery. Where the bonnet hinges is in very nice condition. All the Tripex glass on the car has matching dates. The engine is going to need to be re-built, it is stuck. The car steers and rolls nicely.
