Car to be at auction 3/12
www.coys.co.uk/auction.php

Auction description:
Lot 317 - 1963 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 FHC
317 - 1963 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 FHC
Estimate: £65,000 - £75,000
Registration Number: TBA
Chassis Number: 890303

First built in 1963 this Series I FHC has had an interesting history both in Europe and the UK Full details are not known by the current owner but it competed in the 1963 and 1964 Tulip Rally and the commemoration plaques are with the car.

Equipment/upgrades include: plumbed in fire extinguisher, rear roll cage and BG Developments billet aluminium front brake callipers, heated screen and many more which are too extensive to list.

Having just completed a £36,000 + rebuild, this stunning road/race car is certainly worth inspection. Finished in Ecurie Ecosse metallic blue with grey light weight carpet and burgundy hide and light weight aluminium period seats. All correct detail for the period FIA papers have now been applied for.

This car is eligible for all top historic international racing events. It drives beautifully and has a fresh MOT and current road fund licence. A rare opportunity to acquire an historic road racing car which is as happy on the public highway as it is on track. A period registration has been applied for.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
