European Motor Studio is very proud to offer this exceptional 1964 Jaguar E-Type 3.8 Fixed Head Coupe finished in stunning and rare Black over Red leather. Fresh out of a long term private CA collection, this E-Type Coupe is wearing an older restoration that has just recently had a refresh and looks absolutely gorgeous. The paint has a deep luster and has just been wet sanded, polished and buffed with shows almost no imperfections (small chip on the outer driver door edge, small rock chip next to the driver chrome headlight bezel, small stone chip on upper opening of the passenger side mouth and a small hairline scrape against the passenger side bonnet lip). Otherwise the paint job looks like it has been professionally stripped down to bare metal and repainted its original color. The body and paint work are beautiful were done to an extremely high standard. The trim and bright work looks beautiful and show incredibly well. All of the rubber seals and body gasket are new and from Jaguar. The wire wheels have been re-finished and are wrapped in brand new period white walls. The interior has been re-trimmed with correct matching Jaguar leather and looks beautiful. The center dash gauge surround looks to be original and the dash top has been re-trimmed. All of the carpets, headliner and trim have all been re-trimmed with correct Jaguar material. The engine has been rebuilt along with all of the suspension components, all of the electrical has been rebuilt/sorted, all of the steering components are new, many of the hoses, belts and seals are all new, the alternator has been rebuilt, the gas tank has been removed and cleaned, the radiator has been removed and re-cored, new cooling fans have been installed the clutch is newer, and the carbs have been rebuilt. The engine is a matching number's engine and starts right up, idles beautifully and accelerates strongly. The engine does not smoke under start up or acceleration. A compression test has been performed and all 6 cylinders passed with flying colors. The gearbox is nice and tight and shifts into each gear smoothly. All of the electrical components are operating as designed including all of the exterior lights, turn signals (turn signal stalk is a little loose and sometimes has to be held to operate) reverse light, brake lights, headlights and side marker lights. All of the interior lights are operating including all of the dash lights, the fuel light, the headlight indicator and all of the gauges appear to be reading correctly. There is absolutely no rust anywhere on the car and the undercarriage is beautifully detailed and clean. No rust anywhere on the rockers or undercarriage or in the body. There are no signs of any prior accident damage or repair and the body and undercarriage are straight and clean all the way through. The original spare still wears its original tire, the original jack and original tool roll accompany the car along with an original owners handbook. This is an exceptionally clean well maintained matching numbers E-Type Fixed Head draped in a stunning color combination.

This car briefly appeared on Hemmings, but the link is gone. It can also found here www.fossilcars.com/jaguar/e-type/865132 I suspect someone is using the images and working on a scam. Not that the car is fraudulent, but someone maybe up to no good with this cars details at the moment.
