On Sales ad " Les Anciennes" 109 800 €
Mileage: 16,152 km
We offer you this magnificent Jaguar Type E Coupé Series I from November 1962 which displays 16,152 Miles odometer reading, in Opalescent Gunmetal Gray (J1052) color, with its black imitation interior, its aluminum console, its dashboard redone by us and the rendering is of a very beautiful effect; also a new steering wheel, chrome wire wheels and a synchronized Jaguar gearbox; all in very good condition
It should be noted that this Jaguar Type E has its Heritage certificate; its chassis is compliant BUT is not matching number with regard to its engine - gearbox which have been replaced by a 4.2 liter and a synchronized Jaguar gearbox; a little less expensive but much more reliable; also 4.2 liter engine and gearbox that can be found from 1964 on the I series
Note a complete painting carried out in 2019; bodywork in good condition, hub "wings" also and a chassis and underbody sound and without corrosion.

A true masterpiece of automotive design, this November 1962 built series 1 Coupe, finished in stunning Opalescent Gunmetal is an icon of style and performance. With an odometer reading of 16,152 miles, it is in remarkable condition, enhanced by a black trim interior with refurbished aluminium console and a new steering wheel. It has a non matching number replacement 4.2 litre engine linked to an all synchronised manual gearbox from a 1964 Series 1 car.
The bodywork is in excellent condition with a sound, corrosion free chassis and underbody. Completely repainted in 2019, the dashboard and console have been carefully restored. It is fitted with chrome wire wheels and a full workshop overhaul has been undertaken. It comes with a Heritage Certificate and full invoice file.
