Not running when I saw it 7/07 - bad starter? Non-original interior & paint color, poor chrome, radiator leak. Body shell structurally OK, matching numbers engine. Really needs a complete restoration with repaint.

Listed for sale at The Stable LTD(www.stableltd.com). "The design of the original E-Type fixed-head coupe is acknowledged to be one of the most pure and beautiful designs of any post-war sports car - in fact, one represents the automotive display at New York's Museum of Modern Art. Ours is one of those original cars with it's original 3.8 litre, twin cam, triple carburetor engine and an up-dated four speed fully synchromesh manual transmission in place of the orginal four speed non-synchromesh unit. Classically finished in unmarked dark green with a virtually flawless biscuit leather interior and perfect 15 inch "knock off" chrome wire wheels. This is a car which was delivered new to Pasadena, CA and came to us from Canyon Lake, CA where it enjoyed a rust free habitat - a very important consideration on an E-Type which depends on a solid body structure for strength and rigidity. This is an extremenly nice and very drivable example of an extremely desirable car, accompanied by its British Heritage Trust Certificate, showing chassis and engine numbers to be correct as well as the color combination to be as the car was born." Mileage shown at 91,322 with an asking price of $75,000.
