Current bid $25,100, 18 bids, 5 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
1964 Jaguar E-type. Car is a survivor!!! Is believed to be a one owner. Cars odometer says 5629. Not sure if that is the true miles. Family thinks that it is. Is in very good condition. Runs and drives. Car needs a fuel line fixed before it car be driven. Paint and body are in great shape. Rocker are in good shape. Chrome on the car has some discoloring and light pitting. Wire wheels have some pitting and need to be polished. Top is in good shape. All glass is in great shape. Under the car is in great shape. Interior is in good shape. I have been told by some Jag people that it is not the original color interior. Carpet is old and faded. Engine is in very nice condition. Car needs a good deep cleaning. This is a rare car that would not take much to make it really beautiful.

I am a dealer in South Carolina and I am helping a friend sell this car. Car is part of a trust and will be sold for the highest bid. Car is located in a storage unit in Pasadena CA.

Current bid $35,000 reserve not met, 1 bid 6 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
    was extremely well maintained.
Purchased from the Estate of the original owner in Pasadena two years ago. No rust anywhere. Chrome in good to great shape. Paint, interior, top and mechanicals had been fairly recently re-done before we got it. We fixed a fuel leak, gave her a thorough cleaning, installed new tires, installed seat belts, tuned her up and enjoyed the dickens out of her. What a joy to drive.

Now it's your turn! A real beauty you can take anywhere without worrying about damaging a $100,000+ restored trailer queen!

Actual mileage must be 106,216 miles, but I have no records that can confirm that. I have a copy of the original pink slip from the original owner, but few other records were available to the Executor of the Estate. Odometer says 06216 miles.

Clear California title, no leans. Own this Original California dream car for a fraction of a restored car.

Opening bid $40,000, no reserve, 9 days left in auction. Same location.

    Sellers description:
Our barn find! We purchased this '64 E-Type OTS from the estate of the original owner in Pasadena, CA, three years ago. We did some tune-up work to get it to run, installed new brake and clutch reservoirs, gave it a good cleaning, bought new tires and two good used wheels. Other than that, what you see is what we found. It has been a blast to own and drive, but now must go. We have a copy of the original pink slip, but very little other documentation. We have the original jack, but no tools. The car was very well maintained. Everything was done when needed by the original owner (mechanicals, interior, top). This is not a restored car, but a correctly maintained driver. Runs and drives great. Now we need the garage space. No Reserve!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
