Delivered new on 27 November 1962 as stated on its heritage certificate. It was subject to a complete restoration and meticulous development to semi lightweight specification by Nigel Morris of Valley Motorsport for John Minshaw. Valley Motorsport is a renowned English workshop and they built a very competitive E type for the Minshaw brothers. During the Minshaw ownership the E type carried the registration TUF6.

In 2008 John Minshaw sold TUF6 to a talented French gentleman driver and it regularly finished in the leading places of the many events it is eligible to compete in. The French pilot entered the E type in many prestigious races such as The Tour Auto (which it has raced in on five occasions), Spa Classic, 10,000 Tours de Castellet, Spa 6 hours, GT and Sports Car Cup and Le Mans Classic (which it has already raced in on three occasions). He performed very well achieving eight victories against highly competitive Cobras. The racing record is as follows:

2008: Winner GT and Sports Car Cup Monza. 2nd Grand Prix de l'Age d'Or. 2nd Silverstone Grand Prix.

2009: 5th Tour Auto. 5th Masters Magny Cours. 4th GT and Sports Car Cup Nagaro.

2010: In 1st place but DNF Tour Auto. 5th GT and Sports Car Cup Monza. 4th Masters Magny Cours.

2011: In 3rd place but DNF Tour Auto. 5th GT and Sports Car Cup Monza. 4th Masters Magny Cours.

2012: 4th Tour Auto. 12th Le Mans Classic. 6th Masters Magny Cours

    2013: 6th Spa Classic.

2014: 3rd Tour Auto. In 10th place but DNF Qualification for Le Mans Classic. 5th Dix Milles Tours de Castellet.

For sale at the Ascott Collection of Vaucresson. Described as a highly competitive car, powered by its Jaguar 3.8 litre engine delivering 350hp, it offers a great opportunity to participate in many famous events.

Since it bears British registration plates, the future owner of this FIA E type will, if he wishes, have the pleasure of driving it on the open road. It comes with a fully documented dossier with many invoices for the work done on it and its Historical Technical Passport form 2008. It is ready to race.
