1963 “Barn Find” Series 1 XKE Roadster. The car is a one family owner, 45 year-garaged beauty ready for the daily-driver enthusiast or someone looking for a great start for a restoration project. This all original, unrestored beauty has 11,841 original miles on it. It is Black on burgundy with a black top. This is a 3.8 liter six cylinder 4-speed with welded louvers and a flat floor-board. The interior is in good condition with no holes or tears. (The top panel to the driver’s side door needs to be re-attached.) The exterior is original black paint and in stored condition. The car has a new vinyl top and the mechanism works well. The motor compartment is all original and fairly clean. The trunk needs refurbishing. The vehicle has added-on side moldings and an aftermarket cassette player in the rear panel of the passenger compartment. All the chrome is in place with very little pitting. It has the original wire wheels including the spare. The door key is missing. The car starts immediately, runs very strong and brakes well. This is a California car with no rust. It has never been in the rain and has only been out of the garage 11 times in the last 27 years. The VIN is J63877995. Body # R4676, Engine # R7220-9, & Gearbox # EB6417JS.
