Ebay item 12/30/24
www.ebay.com/itm/186864292490
Opening bid $75,000, no bids, 6 days left in auction, seller British Car Parts Company, 47k miles, no reserve

Seller's description:
This 1962 Jaguar E-Type roadster in the condition it is today was placed into dry covered storage in January 2012. I believe it was stored under a carport previously for many years. A previous owner began to repaint the car by removing the lamps and bumpers and removed a lot of the paint. The bumpers, head lamps with glass and chrome parts, headlamp scoops, side lamps and other parts go with the car. The brake calipers were removed in the past and also go with the car. According to the Jaguar Heritage Certificate the car was originally Jaguar red. The floors need to be replaced and there is rust here and there. Mechanical condition is unknown. The engine, spaceframe and body numbers match the Jaguar Heritage Certificate. The car rolls for transport. Clean Texas title.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
