    Hammer Price £18500.00
    Mileage
    Colour RED
    Trim Colour BLACK
    Chassis No 875626
    Engine No R5269/9

    M.O.T
Over the years we have been priviledged to offer several examples of the Jaguar 'E' type range but we have only offered a handful of the very early 'Flat Floor' roadsters.
This particular example is from a private collection in Southern Ireland and we had the great pleasure in taking a trip to see this vehicle. Upon inspection this left hand drive car appeared to be in very good original order throughout and when it started up the engine sounded very lively. On the road and when warm it maintained the manufacturer's oil pressure and the Moss gearbox felt very good and was showing no signs of wear. The roads in Southern Ireland are not amongst the best in the world but the whole car felt very comfortable even at high speed.
The bodywork is painted in Red and although not perfect it was in very good order for a car that is so original and almost 40 years old and the leather trim, the interior and the hood, which are all in Black, were also in good order as was all the brightwork and the chrome wire wheels.
The car is being sold by the private collector due to other projects and this is rare opportunity to acquire a genuinely very quick and early 3.8 'E' type roadster.
