861569 is a car Classic AutoSports bought in Texas from Dan Mooney in 2002. It was originally exported to South Africa and spent many years there before going to the USA. Classic Autosports Scotland did some re commissioning work before passing on to Martin Bester in Surrey England. A much travelled car in many countries !.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
