Sellers description:
1971 Fixed Head Coupe to sell. The car was freshly painted in spring of 2011. During the stripping and prep process, there were 2 small dime size rust spots on the bonnet and one rust spot under the gas tank which were all professionally repaired. The car is straight, lines fit very well, and the chrome is in excellent condition. Over the history of the car, the car was taken well care of and stored indoors. The clutch was replaced in 1999 and the interior was replaced in 1992.
The car runs and shifts well and overall I would consider this car a great driver. Items to note that have not been addressed on the car are the following:
The AC does not have the proper belt on the car and thus, was not functioning when I purchased the car. I was not concerned about correcting or updating the AC as the car was primarly driven briefly as a Sunday driver. Another item to note is one wiper arm is missing and the wiper motor has power but does not operate. This wasn't a concern as the car was never taken out on a cloudy day nor has it seen a drop of rain over the last two owners.
