Sellers description:
1971 is the last year of the Jaguar FHC. This is not a 2+2. This vehicle has the same specs as the the convertible version (exception, all convertibles have a 12 cyl engine). This is a big 4.2L, 6 cyl engine. The car is in need of restoration. It does run and drive and has a new set of Pirelli Tires on it. The car starts slow on occasion, but once warmed up it runs like a champ. Transmission shifts good. Steering is a little loose. It is scary how quick this car is. I brought the car home from storage to photograph, and like a true Michigan day, it snowed. I picked the car up from a California broker a few years ago and unfortunately I have to sacrifice it. Nice race car feel inside and out. It is a great car to add to anyone's collection. Paint is in great shape. No rust rot. Small amounts of surface oxidation from sitting. The same amount of surface oxidation when I received it from out west. Yes, those are true British knock offs and true british spoke wheels. The radiator and front intake fans are removed in this pictures. The radiator was taken out for restoration. I have everything including owners manual.
I am selling the car for what I have in it. This car is well worth making nicer. Last year of the body style helps too. Don't buy that big body 2+2, get this race car instead.
