This incredible car was owned by the Jag dealer until 1991.
It was sold with a little over 6000 miles to the first registered owner in Houston,Texas.
I purchased this car from it's first registered owner in Texas.
I have every receipt, which additionally documents the mileage as being trye and correct. I have put all in a nice binder along with all the other documentation which proves it to be the very last series II Roadster ever made in the world.
This is a near-perfect ORIGINAL car!
The interior is "AS NEW" and has never been repaired or dye...same with the carpets, dash, trunk, and engine compartment.
The perfect soft-top has never seen the sun or rain...it's just NEW!
The car was owned by a former Jaguar Concurs judge..and he had it professionally repainted a couple of years ago....it looks spectacular!
As good as this car looks, I must say it is the finest running and driving Jaguar Roadster I have ever owned...and over the past 25 years, I have owned over 50 examplers ranging from 1961 through 1974...but this car is in a league of it's own.
They just don't get any better.....And it has the three things money can't buy, "

This 1971 Jaguar XKE was the last Series II roadster built and was refurbished after being acquired by the seller in 2024. It is finished in Signal Red over black leather and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six equipped with triple SU carburetors and linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes tubular headers, a body-color hardtop, a black soft top, a louvered clamshell hood, four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ wire wheels, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, an AM/FM radio, and air conditioning. This XKE roadster is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate, and an Arizona title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Signal Red and was repainted during the aforementioned refurbishment. Exterior equipment includes a body-color hardtop, a Series III grille, a replacement black soft top, sealed-beam open headlights, a driver-side mirror, wraparound chrome bumpers, a louvered clamshell hood, and dual exhaust outlets.
The 15″ wire wheels are secured by rounded knock-offs and are mounted with Bridgestone tires measuring 205/70. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black leather along with a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpets. Interior appointments include an AM/FM radio, a locking glovebox, and an aftermarket air conditioning system.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 23k miles, approximately 20 of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.2-liter inline-six has been fitted with triple SU carburetors and tubular headers. Cooling is via an aluminum radiator.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a 3.07:1 limited-slip differential.
The Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate lists the factory colors and serial numbers along with a build date of October 13, 1970. The certificate states that this was the last E-type Series II open two-seater.
