For sale in our upcoming auction on September 16th at the Montreux Palace, exhibition on the Montreux Palace garden, from September 13 to 16. The presented model is an elegant roadster version of E-Type, equipped with the 12-cylinder engine. It is proposed in a red livery with black leather trim. Our E-Type is quite representative because it is the first with a version RHD, equipped with an automatic gearbox. Completely restored in England, it is today in a perfect condition and its presentation is exceptional. Very few kilometers were made since its ?? body-off? ?restoration. The whole engine, frame, body and cockpit were defused to allow a very high-level restoration. The 12 cylinders start immediately and their functioning presents no problem. The automatic gearbox spends speeds smoothly and the V12 rises easily before the passage of the upper speed.
Although heavier than the 6-cylinder version, the V12 does not propose the same typology of use as 6 Cylinders. Fewer sports and rather in the GT spirit of " cruising, our V12 allows to take advantage completely of the engine quickly by evolving with flexibility on the roads.
