Advertised for sale on Carsales.com.au 28 Dec 2013 with an asking price of AUS$49,000. Seller's description follows"
"This car really is as good as it looks. I am the second owner since 1973 and I have the original Bill of Sale. The car has been garaged and maintained meticulously throughout its life and benefits from having done a nominal 55,000 miles. Whilst the car is structurally sound without rust, I have done a few mechanical improvements including completely re-doing the front end to tighten up the steering and re-building and balancing the Carbies. The engine is strong with 80lb of pressure and is completely original with the exception of the K&N air filters. Cosmetically, I have replaced the headliner and sunvisor covers.
The paintwork and brightwork are excellent. The interior is lovely as can be seen and all dials work. Even the clock. This is a matching numbers car. VIN : 1S72432 Engine : 755138 SA
This car is in excellent order throughout with new rubbers and arrow straight gaps. As mentioned the engine is strong and it shifts easily through the gears. I drive regularly between Geelong and Melbourne and it cruises effortlessly. It is currently on Club plates and is resident in Geelong albeit it can be viewed if required in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne for interested parties.
Please note, I have purchased a new Clutch Assembly Kit for the car and whilst the car does not need it at present, I have never known a Classic car which does not need a new Clutch at some stage. Therefore, the price of 49K includes the new Kit fully installed. If the buyer elects to not install the kit then the price can be amended accordingly."
