This Jaguar E-Type Series 3 V12 2+2 FHC is a refined and desirable classic British grand tourer, which benefits from historical bodywork refurbishment. 

Under the bonnet sits a naturally aspirated 5.3-litre V12, which sends its power to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. 

This original UK-market example was first registered in September 1973, and has been with the seller and fourth owner for two years, with two of the previous owners noted to have been father and son. 

The odometer indicates 63,546 miles, which the seller believes to be accurate, though this is not warranted. 

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

This E-Type Series 3 V12 2+2 FHC is finished in the timeless shade of Old English White, over an Olive leather-trimmed interior, featuring a black dashboard and transmission tunnel, and chrome trim highlights. 

It rides on a set of 15-inch painted-steel wheels with chrome hubcaps, fitted with Pirelli P4000 tyres. 

Equipment includes a three-spoke steering wheel, a Kienzle analogue clock, Smiths gauges, heater and ventilation controls, push-out rear windows, and dashboard rocker switches. 

The car will be supplied with a folder of service records, V5Cs, Footman James condition reports, photos of the respray, a collection of MOT certificates, the original repair operation manual, and two sets of keys.

CONDITION

Specific notes from the seller include: a high-quality professional respray has been previously carried out, and the car is understood to retain its original interior with no reported re-trimming.

The car’s last MOT test was conducted on 11 January 2020 at an indicated 62,791 miles, which resulted in a first-time pass with no advisories. 

This vehicle is now believed to be exempt from mandatory MOT testing due to its age.
