Auction description:
1973 Jaguar E-Type Series III V12 2+2
Lot Number: 190

This Series III 5.3 V12 is described by the vendor as being a genuine, unrestored example that remains in original condition and has been Ziebart protected from new. Having been laid-up for many years, the vendor purchased the car in 2015 and although essentially in good condition, he noticed a tick in the engine. It was then stripped and rebuilt and the fault was discovered as a sticky exhaust valve. Apart from the new high-torque starter motor and bonnet mascot, the car is completely standard. It benefits from a new stainless steel exhaust. The history file contains the Heritage certificate, many MoTs dating from 1976 to 1999, many service invoices, original owner's manual, various documents and spare keys. Mileage recorded at 63,000. Chassis number 1551761BW.

V5 present
MoT April 2018

Estimate: £40,000 - 45,000
