    Sellers desription:
This is a genuine original example of this beautiful car. The car is available for viewing in Twickenham Middlesex. I cannot warrant the milage as I dont have the history but the car was laid up for many years and it drives as a very 'tight' car. In the time I have owned it a truck reversed into it and damaged the bonnet. There was no damage to the 'A' frames etc but I managed to get a new bonnet etc from the insurers. Whilst this was being fitted I had the engine removed and all the under bonnet detailing done. The car has being regularly serviced by Southern Classics of Chertsey during my ownership. Due entirely to my own fault of not putting back the radiator cap some time ago I had to have the engine completely re-built and it has only done around 4,000miles since. The whole car is in excellent condition and drives beautifully. The only work that needs doing right now is a repair to the rear wheel arches where there is some rust as always with this model. A final bonus the car is exempt from Road Tax.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
