An original right-hand drive Series 3 E-Type Jaguar, this particular example was previously owned by a lecturer at Ballarat University for a period of 24 years before the present owner acquired the vehicle in 1999. Other than replacing the head gaskets, piston rings and bottom-end bearings in 1999, the car has required very little other than routine servicing, having travelled just 4,000 miles in nearly ten years. In 2003 a stainless steel muffler was fitted, while any repairs and servicing have been carried out by Ian Low in Geelong and Caulfield Jaguar. Finished in the lovely period colour combination of Sable with tan leather upholstery, this very smart E-Type is reluctantly offered for sale due to the lack of use and will be sold registered in Victoria until May 2010 with a Victorian roadworthy certificate supplied after sale.
