    Classified Ad price: £57,500.

    Sellers description:
This car will be entering production for full major restoration this week (Mid June 2014). Expected to be ready Sept - Oct.

The car has the added bonus of a 5 speed gearbox. This is approximately a £10,000 converision if you where to bring a car to us for this to be done on it's own. For those of you looking to use the car for touring, this makes the driving experience in a totally different league. We where lucky enough to acquire the car with this conversion already in place, so will be passing the saving on to the customer, with only a £5,000 increase on our manual cars at £52,500 retail. So half the cost.

The car is currently white with burgundy trim. As yet we haven't decided the colour we will paint, however as normal the customer can choose this if the car is purchased before that stage. Approximately end July for paint.

    The restoration will include

a full, body of repaint, which can include colour change as mentioned.
A full re-trim, including seats, door cards, carpets & headlining
The engine to be checked & all gaskets changed
    Engine bay painted & detailed
All engine bay ancillary components re-furbished either by sand blasting & powder coating or replace with new.
All chrome inspected & re-chromed or replaced
All rubbers inspected & replaced where necessary
All suspension & wishbones powder coated or replaced
All brake callipers sandblasted, powder coated, pistons inspected & rubbers replaced.
Electrics inspected, & repaired where necessary
Axle inspected, sandblasted & powder coated
We can also throughout the process do any additional changes required by the purchaser at additional cost.

    Extras:

    Metallic Paint £1,000
    Wire Wheels £2,000
    Spinners & Hubs £1,000
    Waterless Coolant £600
    Cotswold Classic Car
Unit 400, Commerce Rd, Staverton, Gloucestershire

Car first registered with Leicester Borough Council on 18 October 1971. For sale at B P Garage Services of Holsworthy. Described as a beautiful E type S3 V12 in need of restoration. It was last on the road in 2011 and showed 82,900 miles. Since then its been stripped and sandblasted ready to restore but like so many people we never have time to do much so have decided to offer it for sale.

The engine has had a lot of work done on it and runs spot on so that's one big job that wont need doing unless its a nut and bolt restoration you want. It has a 5 speed gearbox conversion that cost £5,000, power steering and electronic ignition upgrades. The body is good and as it has been sand blasted you can see what needs doing rather than any hidden bits. It will need a pair of doors but a driver's door is included in the sale.

The underside will need welding in all the usual areas, floors, sills and other bits. The interior isn't horrific, just in need of general tidying and restoring. Seems complete apart from the exhaust. There are a couple of boxes of various bits, sure there will be the odd bit missing although any bits missing would probably be replaced during restoration. It will only take a few hours to strip as it has only been assembled for pictures and transportation.

A straight forward restoration but a restoration none the less. Car comes with a file of invoices and the V5. Only 7 seven owners. £19,995 or near offer.
