One of 19 Commemorative E Types fitted with automatic transmission. For sale at Eagle E Types of Uckfield. Eagle E Types first became acquainted with this car in the early 2000s, after a sympathetic restoration by Jaguar specialists XK Engineering, a process which has preserved this Commemorative car in extraordinarily original condition.
Significant interest saw it sell quickly to the current owners for whom Eagle E Type are handling the sale. Eagle E Type have upgraded the car to their usual discrete Classic specification. The upgrades include Koni shock absorbers, a stainless steel exhaust and improved cooling fan switch.
Presented in sharp and usable condition. It is offered with matching numbers engine and automatic gearbox. It retains the driver's handbook and accompanying wallet. A true collectors car. £245,000.

A 1974 Jaguar E-Type V12 Commemorative sensibly upgraded with many items from our desirable Eagle Classic specification.
To mark the end of E-Type production in June 1974 Jaguar reserved the final 50 chassis numbers for a limited edition model known as the Commemorative.
Save for the choice of gearbox - 19 of which were automatics and 31 manuals - and one car being painted green, all 50 left the factory identically; finished with right-hand drive in the now distinctive black paint and cinnamon leather colour combination. Many dealers retained their allocation of Commemoratives for nostalgia and this fine example was finally registered to its first owner in the September of that final production year.
We first became acquainted with this particular E-Type in the early 2000s, after a sympathetic restoration by renowned Jaguar specialists XK Engineering; a process which has preserved this Commemorative in an extraordinary original condition. After a handful of years the car returned to us for sensible upgrades from our Eagle Classic specification.
Offered with a matching numbers engine and automatic gearbox, and retaining the driver's handbook & accompanying wallet, this Commemorative Jaguar E-Type is a truly collectable driver's car.
