A 1974 Jaguar E-Type V12 Commemorative sensibly upgraded with many items from our desirable Eagle Classic specification.

To mark the end of E-Type production in June 1974 Jaguar reserved the final 50 chassis numbers for a limited edition model known as the Commemorative.

Save for the choice of gearbox - 19 of which were automatics and 31 manuals - and one car being painted green, all 50 left the factory identically; finished with right-hand drive in the now distinctive black paint and cinnamon leather colour combination. Many dealers retained their allocation of Commemoratives for nostalgia and this fine example was finally registered to its first owner in the September of that final production year.

We first became acquainted with this particular E-Type in the early 2000s, after a sympathetic restoration by renowned Jaguar specialists XK Engineering; a process which has preserved this Commemorative in an extraordinary original condition.
